Laboratory Services

To ensure a smooth process for your lab testing, please review the information below.

• Lab Turnaround Time: Most lab results are returned to our office within one week.

• Fasting Instructions: Some tests may require up to 5 hours of fasting beforehand. Our team will provide you with specific instructions. Please continue to take all your prescribed medications as usual, even while fasting, unless directed otherwise by your provider.

• Receiving Your Results: Your health is our top priority, and we are committed to communicating your results promptly. We encourage you to be an active partner in your care. If you have not heard from us within one week of your test, please call our office so we can ensure you receive your information.

• Our Laboratory Partner: Our office partners with Labcorp for bloodwork. If your insurance plan requires you to use a different laboratory, please inform our staff when your test is ordered so we can accommodate your needs.

• Requesting a Copy of Your Results: We are happy to provide a copy of your results. You may request a copy through our patient portal at any time. For requests made by phone, please allow 48 hours for processing. You can then pick up a hard copy or, with your permission, we can send it to a secure fax number. To maintain HIPAA compliance, we are unfortunately unable to email any patient related information.
